It all began with lyrics, melodies and dreams. Singer-songwriter Tammy Jones went searching for a composer to put music to the lyrics floating inside her head and found that composer in Henry Alton (composer, producer and guitarist). Together, they worked on an album that would be the fulfillment of Tammy’s dream, matching the right music to Tammy’s lyrics. The result of their hard work is Tammy’s 11-song self-titled debut CD (released in August 2007), an album that is bursting with creative lyrics, catchy melodies and rocking songs! Rounded out by some of the most talented musicians in Ottawa, the Tammy Jones Band has had some memorable performances that include gigs at the Rainbow, The Ottawa SuperEx , Zaphod Beeblebrox, and our most fave venue Bass Line Station!
